Kylie and Andrew had a fabulous day filled with lots of laughter and friends. They put it all together themselves, and were so relaxed about the whole thing. The wedding photos are mostly natural, capturing what happened and the relationship between the couple and their guests. We started off at Kirkburton Church, Huddersfield where Andrew and the lads turned up early, looking very smart. I could tell we were going to have a fun day as the banter was in full flow!
Andrew’s parents and Grandparents had got married at All Hallow’s and it was lovely to carry on that family tradition. It’s such a beautiful church inside and out, it provided a perfect background for the photos.
When Kylie arrived she looked amazing and was raring to get into the church, not one for being late this bride! She seemed to delight in every aspect of the day, with so many of the photos depicting her infectious laughter!
The bridesmaids looked great in their navy blue gowns, which were all individual and suited them perfectly. The funniest moment of the day had to be the page boy standing right in the middle of the aisle blocking Kylie’s entrance, so she run up to him, scooped him up and deposited him at the side so she and her Grandad could get past! This is a bride who let nothing phase her, and just gets on with anything that comes her way!
After the church we all carried on the party up at Standedge Visitors Centre in Marsden where Kylie grew up. It’s a lovely setting and fabulous everywhere you look for photos. We went on a little amble through the woods, and as it had been raining, I’m afraid the dress got a little dirty but Kylie was determined to get the shots and wasn’t remotely bothered about her dress! It was great to have a little walk through the bluebells and just have a moment to themselves.
The speeches were mortifying to Andrew, which everyone found hilarious! All good-natured fun and you could tell that the friends were a really tight knit bunch, who poked fun at each other at every opportunity.
Congratulations guys, it was amazing to be there. xx
