The Black Horse at Clifton, near Brighouse is an excellent country pub, and is perfect for weddings! I was asked by Alice and Jordan to come along to their fun-filled wedding to capture the photographs of their special day.

As soon as I arrived I could tell this day was going to be a fun one. Alice, the bride, was so laid back and found everything funny, even people getting lost, and their being an issue with the bridesmaids dress, didn’t phase her. This made it so easy to capture some great moments between her and the girls in the morning.

Everything was at The Black Horse, so we just had to walk across the courtyard to the ceremony room where all the guests were waiting. Jordan and his mini-best man were waiting in the cosy room at the back of the bar area, for the girls to arrive. After the ceremony the couple went out and greeted all their guests in the courtyard sunshine. It’s such a lovely spot there for a few natural photos of the mingling and laughter, this lot were well up for a party! The canapes and drinks were in full flow and we managed to get a few group photos, then we went for a short walk outside just with the couple for them to have a breather and actually talk to each other for the first time that day!

We went back to the party for some more fun and chatting then it was time for everyone to take a seat in the dining room for their delicious meals.

After the meal came the speeches which were hilarious, as I’d come to expect from this group, but they were a tad emotional too, I could tell how much everyone cared about each other.
