Standedge Visitors Centre and Tunnel End in Marsden is a fabulous wedding venue which has been underused in recent years, but now it’s really coming into its own! Perfectly placed between Leeds and Manchester the Pennine village of Marsden is a beautiful mix of traditional and modern. Maybe one of the main reasons why I chose to live here!
You can visualise the old warehouse of the Visitors Centre being busy with sacks of wool and flour ready to be shipped out by canal.
Everywhere you turn is amazing backdrop for wedding photography too, I’ve been there loads of times, but there’s always something different and it never fails to provide a picturesque view on every side.
As you can see from the photos below the Thomas Bourne room is an amazing blank canvas any couple to really make it their own.
