Lucie and Chris got married at Saddleworth Hotel, which is a hotel in Delph, Saddleworth, Manchester with countryside views. It was a beautiful day and the sun shone all day long!
The ceremony
The ceremony was outside on the terrace, which has an amazing backdrop on top of a hill. During the ceremony they read their own vows. It was really beautiful.
They decorated the area with flowers, which I loved. The reception was in the main hall at Saddleworth Hotel – I love this venue because you can have the place for the whole weekend. Weddings at Saddleworth Hotel are amazing, because the decor is completely stunning.

The party
The couple had an amazing saxophonist, Ellie Sax in the afternoon, and a live band in the evening. Having live music really does get the party started, and everyone was dancing straight after the ceremony, and after the meal. For dinner they had a roast dinner, and the first dance involved the wedding party getting on the dance floor to get the dancing going. They finished off the evening with Jagerbombs all round.

Lucie wore a floor-length gown and Chris wore a three-piece suit and they looked really perfect.
The couple got in touch with me years ago, and their enquiry sounded like they had some great things planned. They said they wanted a photographer who would be like a guest, and I loved that they just wanted to party.

You will be treated like royalty all day, from getting ready in the beautiful bedrooms to the trip in the Bentley. It’s such a great place for a party too, with a huge ballroom or smaller more intimate rooms for games or smaller ceremonies.
