Wow, there was so much going on at the wedding of Alan and Annette, it was amazing! There was something to photograph everywhere I looked!
From when I arrived in the morning at their house, it was a hive of activity, with cute flower girls and family arriving to help out. We got a few shots in the garden before we left with Annette in the Tuktuk and the rest of the bridal party walking to the beautiful church, following the dhol drummers, which was just a two minute walk away from the house. They made quite the entrance with the small village having never seen anything g like that before!
The church was very small and intimate, and held only around 30 people for the ceremony. Straight after the ceremony all the guests were whisked off to the reception venue which was a private airfield, where the drinks flowed and the party got started! Unfortunately there was going to be an air display with the vintage planes, but the weather was not playing, so that aspect was put on hold. Not that anyone really noticed as there was so much going on anyway. It was straight into afternoon tea, fish and chips, speeches, and a trip a round the airfield for all of the kids in the tuktuk!
We even had a visit from a baby owl! Later on the Indian theme was continued with curries all round!
Many thanks for letting me be a part of your fab day. It was none stop fun! x
