I was so pleased to be asked to photograph the wedding of this fabulous couple at Willington Hall in Cheshire. The day couldn’t have gone any better, everyone had a great time celebrating with the two lovebirds!
The Ceremony
The church was so quaint and they had lovely personal touches like the tuktuk which was Juliette’s bridal car. The sun was in hiding most of the day, but the light was just perfect for getting some shots of the charming little church. The service itself was very emotional, the couple really meant every word of their vows. I’m glad I was hiding behind the camera, so nobody could see the tears in my eye!
Memories to treasure
After the ceremony the couple walked through a lineup of the guests to be covered in confetti, and then the bride threw her bouquet which the ladies and bridesmaids were only too happy to save from the floor! One lucky lady grabbed it to much hilarity! The couple then set of in their unusual transport, after a quick selfie, to Willington Hall for their drinks reception.
Country House Hotel
Once we had arrived at the venue people were set tasks of games, drinking Pimms and generally having a great time. The newlyweds managed to snatch a few moments away from the guests to appreciate the panoramic views from such a fabulous location. The grounds are just perfect with so many places to take romantic pictures and get a moment to take in what has happened on such a special day.
Speeches and wedding breakfast
Once we had captured some lovely images of the new Mr and Mrs we had to head inside as it was time to be seated ready for the speeches. Tom spoke straight from the heart and had everyone in tears about his beautiful bride and how they had met, there were also some laugh out loud moments, I don’t want to make him sound too soppy!
We did a couple of shots of the quirky cheese cake and then it was time for the wedding breakfast to get into full swing!
