It was an absolute pleasure to photograph both of these elopement weddings at Manor House, Lindley, Huddersfield. It’s a glamorous newly renovated boutique wedding venue in its own grounds. Great for smaller weddings and larger celebrations, with unique and elegant bedrooms for guests too!
Low-key relaxed ceremony at Manor House, Lindley
The first was a really special wedding, after having three dates, the couple decided to bring it forward and fitted it in between lockdowns in 2020. It was just the two of them, and I was even asked to be a witness along with Jaine, the wedding coordinator at Manor House wedding venue.
Intimate elopement wedding at Manor House
The second wedding I photographed during lockdown was the ceremony of Claire and Katie. me and Jayne also happened to be witnesses for both weddings too which was lovely!
The excitement was palpable for Katie and Claire’s wedding in Spring 2021. They were both really nervous before they exchanged vows, but once they had seen each other they relaxed and realised everything was going to be ok!
They has their ceremony in the lounge between the two rooms where they were both getting ready, so they didn’t have far to go, and it made for a lovely backdrop.
We made full use of every possible area of the beautiful venue. It really is like nowhere else for the amount of picturesque places indoors for photos. So it doesn’t matter if the weather doesn’t play ball, we can still get lots of different images, and backgrounds.
