GAMEKEEPERS INN, A  BEAUTIFUL VENUE FOR A FUN LOVING COUPLE

When Olivia and Lee first got in touch with me about their Gamekeepers Inn wedding in North Yorkshire, I was so thrilled – they were planning a really fun quirky wedding with lawn games, crazy friends and even an NFL ball throw instead of a bouquet toss. Olivia and Lee are the most fun people and I couldn’t wait to shoot their wedding!

Getting ready

I started shooting at the Inn, where the girls were relaxing before the big event, and it was really exciting, because everyone was in a good mood. Olivia wore a beautiful beaded gown and Lee wore a pale blue jacket and contrast waistcoat and they looked so incredible.

The ceremony

The wedding took place in The Fountains Fell room, and was a romantic and fun ceremony. They had some beautiful readings, which was so unique. After the ceremony there was a big cheer from everyone, and then the couple danced back down the aisle together.

The afternoon

The wedding reception took place mostly in the gardens to the front of the Inn, they had a live guitarist who played outside, in a perfect setting.

It was a beautifully sunny day, which was glorious. While the guests played lawn games, the couple mingled and laughed with their friends. My favourite photo from the couple photos is the one in the trees, because they look so happy together.

During the reception they had a few speeches, which went down a storm. I must say Lee was so pleased when it was over, you couldn’t tell he was nervous because he totally nailed it!
