If you’re planning a wedding at Hardcastle Crags in Hebden Bridge, you’ll love this wedding for inspiration!
Emma and Duncan got married at Hardcastle Crags, which is a quirky barn in Hebden Bridge with a river running straight past, a cobbled entrance, and a mill pond to the rear. It was a truly unique and intimate day and the sun shone all day long!
The ceremony
The ceremony was an intimate affair led by a celebrant under a flower arch in the main warehouse. During the ceremony they read their own vows and had a hand-fasting. It was really emotional.
They decorated the area with forest decor, which I loved. The reception was in a tipi at Hardcastle Crags – I love this venue because it has so many great opportunities for rustic and natural portraits.
Weddings at Hardcastle Crags are amazing, because the surroundings are just so varied, from the industrial cobbles and mill to the fast flowing river and tree-lined paths.
Hardcastle Crags is perfect for intimate weddings, and is one of the most quirky and special places to get married in West Yorkshire. The venue offers an amazing atmosphere for a wedding – and there are many rustic buildings around the grounds that are perfect for photos.
The afternoon
The couple had drinks and canapes in the afternoon, and a game of Mr and Mrs in the evening. For dinner they had a selection of curries, and Emma’s son gave a speech which was the perfect mix of amusing and emotional.
The couple
Emma wore a floor-length gown and Duncan wore a grey suit and they looked really dapper. Emma had a custom made black denim jacket also for later on when it got a bit nippy.
