I was asked to photograph Marsden Mechanics Hall, to promote their updated shared and rentable rooms on site. This impressive building right in the heart of Marsden village in Huddersfield, is now a community owned building, and really is a great space to work and play.

The building has a wide variety of uses, and different sized rooms to hire. Uses include, yoga, dancing, meetings, theatre, music, and weddings.

There are different sized spaces to rent from a small room for a meeting of maybe 2-8 people, or a larger room which can hold up to 20 people at desks, and is also licensed for wedding ceremonies too. It’s a versatile space which can be decorated to suit any event.

It is also home to the Mikron Theatre Company, who are a brilliant Community theatre company who have shows nationally. They travel by canal barge, in the summer, and bus in the winter.
