The Old Barn, Esholt. Summer wedding.

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day at The Old Barn, Esholt for wedding photography. Lauren and Matt really timed it well!

It’s such a unique venue with beams, a beautiful staircase and brilliant garden areas on 3 sides, perfect for mingling with guests and for photos!

On the day Lauren and Matt arrived separately both driven by Matt’s dad in his specially transformed VW Camper van, which fitted beautifully with the boho theme. The day ran smoothly with us even getting a quick go on the driving range!

Matt managed to hold it together for Lauren’s arrival up the grand staircase and down the white aisle where they had a lovely civil ceremony. Then we were straight outside into the baking sun for some mingling and a few photos. I like to keep in relaxed at this point and let the couple speak to all the guests as they’re all desperate to congratulate the newlyweds.

We then nipped off across to the mowed field to have a few by the spring flowers just of the two of them, so they could have a quiet moment together before we were back for the couple to be announced into the room as man and wife!

The speeches were before the meal, and they were great fun, with Lauren’s dad starting them off with his “senior moment”, and Matt and his best man, Chris having everyone laughing at their tales.

Weddings at the Old Barn always run smoothly with a fun and relaxed atmosphere, as a result everyone has a great time and can enjoy the day with no stress!
