St John’s Church Golcar wedding photography

ALL THE VILLAGE OF GOLCAR CAME OUT TO SEE LOUISE MARRY HER AUSSIE GROOM JACK

When Louise and Jack first got in touch with me about their St John’s church wedding in Golcar, I was so happy – they were planning a really fun and laid back wedding with a church ceremony, lawn games and even a live band. Louise and Jack seemed like the loveliest people and I couldn’t wait to shoot their wedding!

I began the morning at Louise’s parents house, where the bride and her friends were enjoying a pre-wedding drink, and it was so relaxed, because everyone was in a good mood. Louise wore a beautiful gown from Dotty Bridal.

The ceremony

The wedding took place at St John’s church, Golcar, and was a traditional church ceremony. They had some beautiful readings, which everyone enjoyed. After the ceremony they were showered with confetti, and then we travelled to the reception.

The party

The wedding reception took place in a marquee the couple had arranged on the cricket field, which they’d decorated with cricket bats, and beautiful table flowers. It was so unique.

It was a slightly rainy day, which didn’t bother them at all. While the guests enjoyed canapes and cocktails, we took portrait photos. My favourite photo from our portrait session is the one showing the view and the cobbles behind Golcar Lily.

Here’s their fabulous Golcar marquee wedding!
