I have photographed many weddings before at The Woodman Inn, Thunderbridge and it’s always fabulous. Everything ran like clockwork, even though there was a huge downpour just in time for the meal.

Having met up with Laura and Matt a couple of times before the wedding, I knew this was going to be one hell of a day, but the reality was even better!

We started off the day with the girls staying at the cottages nearby where they had hair and makeup going on in different rooms in the house. Everyone was busy helping out, with a great buzz of anticipation for the day ahead.

We managed to get to the woods before the rain started, so it was perfect timing, I really love the woodland around there, and it must be a big incentive for the couple’s who get married there.

Different to many of the weddings I’ve photographed at The Woodman Inn, Laura and Matt had a marquee out by the Orangery, which worked brilliantly to fit in all their guests, the band and massive dancefloor!

Can’t wait to come back again, and as always the food is delicious!
