The happiness and fun of this day was evident from the first time I met Kat and her family on the morning of the wedding. Her parents were busy buzzing around getting the boys ready, and grandad doing a bit of air guitar and dancing to keep them happy!
The weather wasn’t playing ball in the morning, but everyone was buoyant and it went un-noticed.
When we arrived at The Grange Hotel in the centre of York, the groom, Nigel and his best man were already there, and in the expected place, the bar!
The Grange is an absolutely gorgeous hotel with lots of history and a stately home feel. The ceremony room is beautiful as you can see in the photos below. It was quite an emotional service, with lovely readings by Kat’s Mum and chief bridesmaid, Stacey.
