A spring wedding at the picturesque Helme Church near Meltham.
As churches go, this has to be one of the best for wedding photography. The sun shone and everyone was bowled over by such an amazing day! Kirsty and Richard asked me to be their photographer for their wedding which was to be held at Helme Church and then on to the newly refurbished and extended 315 Restaurant at Lepton. They were so lucky with the weather, it was an absolutely perfect day and the couple had thought of everything to make the day extra special and personal to them.
I was at the church when the groom and the best men arrived in their matching ribboned wedding cars. A lot of effort had gone into this! Once all the guests had arrived and greeted Richard and family and they were all safely inside, Kirsty arrived in the beautiful classic wedding car with her dad. Then it was straight into the ceremony. The girls made a wonderful entrance down the aisle with the little flower girls stealing the show, that was until Kirsty walked in! I do believe there was a tear in Richards eye but he composed himself quickly! The service was lovely and the church itself is beautiful inside for photos.
We headed off to 315 Restaurant and Spa for the wedding reception
After a few blustery photos at the church we had a drive over to the reception venue at 315 Restaurant and Spa. The room was all set up and looked beautiful, we had a little time to get some photos of the bride and groom and their bridesmaids and groomsmen. They’re a fun bunch so wanted to get up to some crazy stuff, like turning the groom upside down!
Here’s another wedding I’ve photographed at 315 Winter wedding at 315
