What an amazing wedding venue Holdsworth House is, we never fail to have a great time and get lots of brilliant photo opportunities! The wedding of Lesley and Mark was no exception. It was really fun to have the Gatsby 1920’s theme too, with everyone making an effort it really fitted in with the period features at Holdsworth House.
Lesley got ready in one of the rooms at Holdsworth with a grand four-poster bed! She was helped by her grandchildren, who looked so cute in their vintage outfits. It really got the place buzzing when the guest started arriving in their 1920’s themed outfits.
They had the ceremony on the premises including a harpist, which really added some atmosphere to the proceedings, the link is below.
After the ceremony we went out to the front of the Hall and had some drinks and a few photos. I don’t like to drag this bit out, especially if people are cold, so we whipped through it pretty quickly for most of the guests. We did a group shot of everyone and then let those who wanted to go get back in the warmth by the fire or to the bar!
It was lovely to have the vintage car there at this point though, and we made good use of it for some vintage looking photos. It’s such a photogenic venue, you can’t go wrong! The bride and groom even managed a romantic walk and a stroke of the horses in the next door field.
The guests were treated to an afternoon of magic by Oliver Twist Parker too, as you can see from the photos he certainly impressed the guests, they were stunned by his tricks, and he was fun to have around too!
The family and friends of the newlyweds partied on into the night with lots of dancing and even a comedian. A truly great wedding and an epic day for Lesley and Mark. You really pulled it off! Congratulations to you both xx
