The new Mr and Mrs Hall had a perfect day, despite the rain at Oakwell Hall, which is gorgeous for wedding photography. It was also great because they were also able to bring along Lucy the Greyhound, who needed to come and watch mum and dad make it official!

The main hall at Oakwell is so imposing and great for photos with it’s oak-panelled walls and beautiful gallery. The manor house is Elizabethan and is open to visitors on days when there’s no wedding happening. The gardens at the back of the main hall are absolutely beautiful and we had big plans to have the drinks out there after the ceremony, unfortunately the weather had other ideas and we opted to have the drinks reception in the barn which was set up for the wedding breakfast. This worked well, and whilst the newlyweds were out for a short drive me and the guests did some photos in the barn. It was lovely to see it all set up, the coloured bunting and decorations looked great.
