Luxury Boutique Hotel, Leeds.

When I met Georgina and Stephen at a wedding fair, they were looking for a venue which was light and airy, with beautiful grounds and a fabulous party room, Woodlands Hotel immediately sprang to mind! They got back in touch when they had booked the Woodlands Hotel, and I was thrilled to bits!

On the morning of the wedding I headed off to Georgina’s parents’ house to meet the girls who were having their hair and makeup done whilst having a very chilled morning over a glass of Prosecco.

Ceremony time.

The posh wedding cars picked everyone up and they arrived down the sweeping drive at the spectacular Woodlands Hotel. The groom Stephen was already there with the gathering guests. The ceremony room was decorated with amazing white blossom trees which really framed the room and the couple. The flower girl and page boy were so cute coming down the aisle in front of the bride. The ceremony was lovely, and I even got quite emotional myself!

It was a lovely hot day and we all streamed outside into the beautiful grounds on the patio of the mansion house to mingle, eat canapes and drink some fizz! We took that time to get a few family photos and go for a wander through the trees to capture some natural moments with the couple. I am always quick with this stage as I know that people want to talk to their guests and don’t want it to turn into a just photo shoot!

The wedding breakfast was glorious in the new orangery, and the bride was definitely surprised to see a life-sized cardboard cutout of new idol Gary Barlow waiting for her at the top table! Haha. After the meal were the speeches which were hilarious and poignant, with plenty of amusing secrets being revealed to the guests.

Party time!

After the meal, the weather was still warm so everyone went back out onto the terrace and played games on the lawns, whilst the photo booth was set up and the band got ready for the big party!
