When Melissa and Dan first got in touch with me about their wedding, I was so chuffed, I know Melissa from doing other weddings at The Huntsman Inn, Holmfirth where she is wedding coordinator! Melissa and Dan are the nicest people and I couldn’t wait to shoot their wedding!
I started at the Huntsman, where the bride and her friends were relaxing before the big event, the bridal suite is lovely and the girls made the most of their time together. Melissa wore a floor-length gown and Dan wore a three-piece suit and they looked really gorgeous.
The wedding took place at a beautiful resort in Santorini, and was a beachfront sunset ceremony. This day was to celebrate with all their friends at The Huntsman Inn and really have a great party.
THE AFTERNOON
The wedding reception took place at The Huntsman Inn, which was adorned with pretty trees and simple chair covers. It was so gorgeous.
It was a windy day, which didn’t bother them at all, so we popped out to the local reservoir at Digley for a few couple portraits. While the guests enjoyed drinks at the bar, I did some family photos. My favourite photo from our portrait session is Melissa and her fur brother. Check it out below!
During the reception they had a DJ, which everyone loved. For dinner they had proper wedding grub, and it was absolutely delicious. Afterwards, the couple cut the wedding cake and the DJ kept the party going all night.
Even though in rained a little we still managed to get some lovely photos which were very laid back and not too posed.
